When installation is performed by Colpix Global certified technicians, the warranty period shall commence from the date of successful installation, duly documented.

Print Heads — Specific DOA Policy

5.1 Consumable Nature of Print Heads Print heads are components of a consumable nature, whose service life depends directly on print volume, quality of consumables used, operating environmental conditions, and the frequency and quality of maintenance performed. Consequently, print heads are NOT covered by the standard 12-month limited warranty described in this document.

5.2 Definition and Scope of DOA Policy Print heads are subject exclusively to the DOA Policy (Dead On Arrival). A print head is considered DOA if it presents evident manufacturing defects that prevent its normal operation from the moment of receipt by the Client or from the moment of initial installation, without having been exposed to any productive use.

5.3 DOA Claim Procedure For a DOA claim to be valid and processed by Colpix Global, ALL of the following requirements must be simultaneously met: The claim must be communicated to Colpix Global within five (5) calendar days following receipt of the spare part or component The Client must provide high-quality photographic evidence of the print head's condition in its original packaging and outside of it The Client must provide video evidence of the unboxing process and defects detected The Client must allow Colpix Global technicians to perform a remote technical diagnosis The print head must not have been installed or used under conditions other than those specified

For complete equipment (industrial machines), a DOA claim must be reported within seven (7) calendar days following receipt of the equipment, meeting the same photographic evidence, unboxing video and remote diagnosis requirements.

5.4 DOA Determination The determination of whether a component qualifies as DOA is an exclusive and discretionary attribution of Colpix Global, exercised through its specialized technical team. The determination process will include review of photographic and video evidence provided, performance of remote technical diagnosis, and where technically possible and necessary, on-site or video call technical assistance. DOA determination is not based solely on the Client's statement, but on the objective technical evaluation performed by Colpix Global.

5.5 DOA Resolution If a component is determined to qualify as DOA, Colpix Global will proceed with the replacement of the defective component. Replacement does not include international shipping costs or import duties, which shall be borne by the Client. DOA replacement does not generate a new warranty on the replaced component.
