Electrical and regulatory requirements at destination
The buyer is responsible for verifying electrical, regulatory, customs and local compliance requirements in the destination country before shipment. Colpix Global is not liable for customs rejections, missing certifications or electrical incompatibility not validated prior to dispatch.
Shipping Modalities
1.1 EXW — Ex Works Under EXW terms, Colpix Global makes the equipment available to the Buyer at the manufacturer's facilities or designated warehouse. From that moment, all costs of international transport, transport insurance, export and import customs clearance, tariffs, taxes, fees and any other cost arising from the transfer to the final destination are the exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.
1.2 FOB — Free On Board Under FOB terms, Colpix Global assumes responsibility for the equipment until it is loaded onto the vessel or aircraft at the agreed port or airport of origin. From that moment, all risks and costs of international transport, insurance, unloading, customs clearance at destination, import tariffs, taxes and fees are the exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.
Responsibility for Taxes, Tariffs and Import Costs
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in Colpix Global's official quotation, the Buyer assumes full responsibility for payment of: (i) import tariffs and customs duties applicable in the destination country; (ii) value added tax (VAT), sales tax or other indirect taxes applicable to the import; (iii) inspection, quarantine or certification fees required by the destination country's authorities; (iv) customs broker or logistics company fees designated by the Buyer; (v) customs storage costs, demurrage or any costs arising from delays in customs clearance.
Preparation and Dispatch Times
Industrial equipment sold by Colpix Global is, in its vast majority, manufactured, configured or prepared to specific order. Consequently, preparation and dispatch times are indicative and may vary depending on: availability of the requested model in the manufacturer's production line; configuration, testing and pre-dispatch quality control times; availability of container space and international transport frequencies; and seasonality of international trade.
Transport Insurance
Unless specifically agreed in writing, international transport insurance is not included in the equipment price. The Buyer is strongly advised to take out international transport insurance covering the full value of the equipment from origin to final destination. Colpix Global may assist the Buyer in arranging insurance if requested, although resulting costs shall be borne by the Buyer.
Receipt Inspection
It is the Buyer's responsibility and obligation to thoroughly inspect the condition of the packaging and equipment upon receipt, before signing the delivery note or any carrier document. If visible damage to the packaging or equipment is detected, the Buyer must: (i) expressly note the relevant reservations on the carrier's document; (ii) photograph and document the damage in video comprehensively; (iii) communicate the damage to Colpix Global within 24 hours of receipt; (iv) preserve the original packaging in good condition until the incident is resolved.
Customs Delays and External Circumstances
Colpix Global assumes no responsibility for delivery delays arising from: customs inspection or detention procedures; changes in export or import regulations; commercial sanctions or export control lists; port or airport worker strikes; port or airport congestion; adverse weather conditions; or any other circumstance beyond Colpix Global's direct control.
